Ok, so here's my problem.I got my console banned last year (First wave of bannings). In December it got the RRoD so I sent it back to M$ to get repaired. They sent it back 1 week later fixed BUT with an error when I try to connect to Live. "Technical Configuration Error" and it always fails on the Live test.I checked the codes and its not banned. Z is all 0'sI called M$ and they said its my gamertag which if they were smart they would know you dont use any gamertag when doing the tests so its not my account.They then said its my network but I have my brothers 360 here that connects fine even with my gamertag. I also took it to a service center and they get he same error so its not the network. After 3 phone calls I finally get them to admit its thier fault and to return it to them and they will fix it.3 weeks later I get pissed and call and they keep trying to delay it so I get annoyed and speak to a supervisor and they get it 'fixed' there and then and it gets sent back the next day. When it gets back it still has the same fault so I call straight away and after another 2 phone calls over 1 hour each they again say to send it back and they will fix it this time.I call after 1 week and they said its coming back now with no faults found. They also say they dont test Live and found no errors.The day I get it back they called me and said to send it back to them and they will swap it for a new machine. Why didnt they just send me a new machine instead of sending the faulty one back? I get pissed at all this and as its got a BenQ drive I open it and mod it. Now, as it cant get on Live it cant get banned so when it does get the RRoD again (which it will) I can send it back and HOPEFULLY they will fix it  properly then. The only good I got out of all this is 3 months of gold cards, 1 faceplace and 1 game. The problem is I cant get on Live to use the 3 months and I got the game and faceplate when they had my 360 so I couldnt use them. My advice to everyone reading this is; dont bother anymore with the 360. Go get a PS3. You say "oh, but there is no games for the PS3"... But there will be. Doesnt the PS2 have more games than the Xbox? Just wait and you will see the PS3 will be around a lot longer than the 360 as its a better, more stable system.As soon as GTA IV comes out you wont want the 360 anymore anyway. I will be getting a PS3 the day GTA IV comes out. I'm not going to bother anymore with the 360. Oh, has anyone had this error before and got it working again?
